Source: Dream Yosa Koi Festival Global Promotion Foundation The Dream Yosakoi Festival Global Promotion Foundation, a general incorporated foundation, has announced that it will hold the 24th Dream Yosakoi Festival in Odaiba/Marunouchi for two days, from November 2nd (Sun) to 3rd (Mon/national holiday), 2025. Following on from last year, paid viewing box seating will be available. A limited number of tickets are on sale now. Now in its 24th year, the Dream Yosakoi Festival brings together approximately 5,000 dancers from all over Japan, making it one of the largest and most prestigious festivals in Tokyo. The festival has attracted approximately one million spectators in recent years, and has been held not only in Japan but also around the world, including New York. This time, it’s not just a dance festival, 1. Collaboration with Yosakoi dance and other events at the “Odaiba Dream Projection Mapping featuring the 24th Dream Yosakoi Festival” 2. Edo Tokyo Premium Night, the first-ever outdoor 3D hologram show with the theme of “Kabuki x Anime x Festival.” 3. In addition to free viewing and free walk-in participation in an authentic Yosakoi Naruko dance workshop, paid box and viewing seats, including “VIP special seats for photo shoots,” will also be available. 4. A YouTube live stream from the Marunouchi venue will be available for remote viewing from around the world. 5. A special collaboration live performance with the FNS Charity Campaign is planned. The festival is based on the concept of “Toward a Tokyo festival that contributes to society 10 steps ahead.” It also participates in the Orange Ribbon Campaign to prevent child abuse, which began in 2019. In addition to creating excitement in the local area, the festival aims to tackle pressing social issues and contribute to a sustainable society, becoming a festival worthy of being the face of Tokyo. This year’s festival will feature performances by approximately 80 teams and 5,000 dancers from all over Japan. We will be offering free viewing, as well as paid box seats and paid seating on the day in the Odaiba area. We are taking measures to combat overtourism both domestically and internationally, prevent disease, and combat crowds, ensuring the safety and security of spectators, visitors, and participating Yosakoi teams. In addition, paid box seats (VIP photo seats and general reserved seats) at the Odaiba Statue of Liberty venue can be purchased in advance or on the day. Source: General Incorporated Foundation Dream Yosa Koi Festival Global Promotion Foundation (2) Nighttime Special Feature 1. “Odaiba Dream Projection Mapping featuring the 24th Dream Yosa-koi Festival” ※ (Odaiba Statue of Liberty Venue) This projection mapping utilizes part of the viaduct near Yurikamome Daiba Station as an initiative that contributes to the achievement of the SDGs. The event also includes measures to combat crowds at night and to prevent disasters and crimes, contributing to the city’s nighttime economy through an immersive venue. Enjoy Yosakoi in collaboration with Yosakoi dance performances in the evening, authentic Yosakoi Naruko dance lessons and demos, and a team tug-of-war event. The projection mapping will be projected onto the Yurikamome Viaduct (on one side of the Statue of Liberty/performance goal side), which crosses the Odaiba Statue of Liberty venue. Partnership with the Orange Ribbon Campaign to Prevent Child Abuse ~Peace and Justice for All – Ending Violence Against Children~ In 2019, the NPO National Network for Child Abuse Prevention and the Dream Yosakoi Festival Global Promotion Foundation signed a
partnership agreement to promote awareness through the festival’s Orange Ribbon Campaign to prevent child abuse. This initiative, which also contributes to SDG number 16, marks a first for Yosakoi, and indeed for any festival across the country. November also coincides with Child Abuse Prevention Promotion Month, designated by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. 1) Yosakoi teams will perform wearing orange ribbon stickers (optional) 2) Installation of orange ribbon support ticket seating at the Fuji TV venue 3) Actively promote awareness activities, such as lighting up the Fuji Television headquarters with an orange ribbon (planned).
