electricity by always turning it off when I go out and frequently unplugging heaters that I’m not using.” Hasegawa Mira said, “I try to avoid impulse buying and before buying clothes, I think about whether I can wear them for 5 to 10 years. I also research the initiatives of my favorite brands and the company that makes the coffee I drink every day, and try to spend money that goes to companies that are doing good work.”

Kiku took the stage first, followed by WILD BLUE members Suzuhito Mukai and Neo, adding a touch of color to the stage. The talk segment featured Kajiwara Kanagisa, who was crowned Miss Seventeen 2025 and was selected as an exclusive model, as well as Neo, Nozaki Miyu, and Higuchi Kohei. Regarding their fashion, Nozaki Miyu said, “I wear clothes made with eco-leather, and recently whenever I go shopping for clothes I often see the SDGs mark, which makes me realize that environmental considerations are being put into various places without me even realizing it.” Regarding their style preferences, Neo said, “When it gets cold, I tend to dress up and move away from fashion, but I try to actively incorporate items with fur or fluffy materials. I would like to increase this number of items in the future.”
Furthermore, in reference to the “SDGs Edogawa 10 Actions,” each of them spoke about their awareness and actions towards achieving the SDGs. Kajiwara Kanagisa said, “I make sure to carry a water bottle when I go out, and I believe that these small daily actions will lead to the SDGs, so I try to keep that in mind,” and Higuchi Kohei sent a message saying, “When I cook at home, I make sure not to leave any food behind and not to buy too much.”

An artist concert that put Actions 6 and 7 into practice, creating excitement and deepening bonds across generations. Shinako, a Harajuku-based video creator and artist with over 4.2 million social media followers, performed sharp dance moves and songs in a colorful unicorn costume. “This is the first time I’ve sung on a stage where I can see everyone’s expressions like this. I was able to talk to everyone and this stage was great! Everyone was dancing and having so much fun, it made me so happy!” she exclaimed, and performed a total of four songs, including her first song “Shinako World,” released in 2024, and her new song “Unicorn Party,” released in October 2025, a “buzz song” whose TGC performance video posted on her social media account has been viewed over 10 million times. During the talk portion, she also talked about small ideas and recommended actions that contribute to the SDGs, saying, “I love tumblers, so I put my drinks in one at home before going out, so I can reduce plastic bottle waste,” and showed off the tumbler she had brought with her to the stage that day. “Having cute things lifts my spirits, and I have about five of them, so I rotate them depending on my mood,” she said. When asked about SDG-conscious actions that people can take starting today, she said, “Everyone’s buying Shinako merchandise and making fans and stuffed animals, but I want people to cherish toys and clothes and use them for a long time.” Each of these actions was easy to understand and even elementary and junior high school students could emulate. The second artist to perform was Natsu Masato, who is hugely popular among young people for his catchy melodies that are hard to forget once you hear them. The soft sounds of falling rain, combined with her clear vocals, acoustic guitar, and live keyboard accompaniment, created a magical, heartwarming stage performance that seemed as if nature had joined the performance. He captivated the audience with his
performances of “Love at First Sight” and “You Are My Destiny,” both of which have become viral hits on TikTok with a total of 1.6 billion views. The final act of the artist live performance was Chris Hart, who has previously performed on the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen! Starting with his own song “monochromatic,” he performed Kazumasa Oda’s classic “Love Story wa Totsuzen ni,” which sold over a million copies in 1991, and DREAMS COME TRUE’s “Ureshii! Tanoshii! Daisuki!” (Lovely! Fun! Loves It!), beloved by people of all ages and genders. He captivated the audience with his assured vocal talent. To close the set, he performed his own hit song “I LOVE YOU,” delivering a warm and heartwarming performance amid the cold weather. Chris Hart, a father of five, said he has spent the past two years focusing on raising his children. “I thought Tokyo had few places to play, but Edogawa Ward has fun programs like this, and a large park. I want to spend more time with my kids. It’s wonderful to have a place to gather,” he said, praising the charms of Edogawa Ward and bringing the SDGs FES artist live performance to a spectacular close.

participating in the “LDH Dance Workshop Show”! EXILE TETSUYA calls out, “Let’s push the children who will support the future of Edogawa Ward together!” The SDGs FES concluded with the “LDH Dance Workshop Show” produced by EXILE TETSUYA! From the very first song, EXILE TETSUYA, GENERATIONS’ Yuta Nakatsuka, and Edogawa-born THE RAMPAGE’s Shogo Iwatani appeared on stage, performing the wildly popular songs “Choo Choo TRAIN” and “I Wish For You” alongside dancers from EXPG STUDIO OMIYA KIDS and EXPG High School Tokyo. During “Choo Choo TRAIN,” EXILE TETSUYA and Iwatani Shogo themselves invited kids onto the stage, and the venue was filled with excitement and loud cheers. Nakatsuka Yuta expressed his deep feelings, saying, “This is actually the first time I’ve performed with TETSUYA since the stage where he tore his Achilles tendon. I’m so happy and moved to be able to dance with him.” EXILE TETSUYA then smiled and said, “Our motto is to dance happily no matter what the environment. Please enjoy yourself freely!” During “MORNING SUN” by EXILE B HAPPY, a unit formed with the goal of “supporting children’s dreams through dance and music,” the audience improvised Edogawa’s “E pose” and filmed a TikTok video. During GENERATIONS’ “Y.M.C.A,” the audience stretched their bodies to their fullest and struck the “Y.M.C.A pose,” uniting the audience and creating a huge buzz. For the classic song “Rising Sun,” they collaborated with the dance club from Edogawa Ward’s Kasai Third Junior High School. EXILE TETSUYA said, “A lot of kids came. I hope everyone has the biggest smiles on their faces.” They danced to “Rising Sun” with all their might, and the club members were all smiles after finishing their performance. The following songs were performed: EXILE THE SECOND’s “Going Crazy,” THE RAMPAGE’s
“Shangri-La,” and GENERATIONS’ “AGEHA.” The entire venue waved towels and moved their bodies in unison. For EXILE B HAPPY’s “Guruguru Dream,” the kids in attendance once again came up on stage to dance along. When asked how the view from the stage was, one kid exclaimed, “Amazing!” At the end of the stage, EXILE TETSUYA called out, “Edogawa Ward is home to so many wonderful children. When I think about the fact that these children will grow up and support this town in the future, I feel this is a fitting scene for the SDGs FES. Let’s all encourage these children together!” After all the performers gathered together to perform “Galaxy Express 999,” Nakatsuka Yuta commented, “I had the best memories with the best audience.” Shogo Iwatani shared a message: “I’m glad I grew up in Edogawa Ward! Edogawa Ward’s children are full of energy. I hope that when you grow up, you will achieve your dreams and have many hopes. We want to keep dancing, wishing for everyone’s bright future.” EXILE TETSUYA concluded the SDGs FES with a moving message: “SDGs FES is the best festival ever! I hope it continues next year, the year after, and even 10 years from now.”

This year, like last year, the event will run from Thursday, September 25, 2025, to Tuesday, December 9, 2025. ■What is Tokyo Girls Collection? ■What is Tokyo Girls Collection? Held twice a year since August 2005, this event brings together top influencers such as models, talents, artists, and video creators, boasting a recognition rate of 94% and making it the largest fashion festival in history. The total number of people who experienced the event both in person and online exceeded approximately 8 million, and by combining TGC with a wide variety of partners, it has gone beyond the framework of a fashion show and developed into a branding platform that functions as a “laboratory” for content development and branding. Utilizing its communication power, it will work with the United Nations,
governments, and public agencies to serve as a bridge to communicate ever-changing social issues, such as the promotion of SDGs and regional revitalization, to young people.
