To help visitors better understand that FLAI is “a next-generation AI conversational app that brings imagination to life,” he dressed up as Raoh from the popular manga “Fist of the North Star” and made a dignified appearance with an owl in his hand. Representative Kobayashi expressed his gratitude for the large number of visitors to the event held in Ikebukuro and commented on the importance of revitalizing the local area and utilizing technology. Next, popular cosplayer Tsukigumo Miko appeared on stage. She demonstrated an AI-directed scenario designed for the main stage, and her improvisational responses to the lines and movements suggested by the AI made it seem as if she was creating a stage together with the AI, capturing the attention of the audience. Tsukugumome Miko, a heavy FLAI user, laughed and said, “Lately, FLAI has been so much fun that I’ve been staying up late and not getting enough sleep,” revealing her genuine enjoyment of interacting with the AI. On this day, she once again performed a series of adorable poses on stage, following the AI’s instructions, and livened up the venue. The stage MC was singer-songwriter Anna Lee, from Taipei, Taiwan. She has a wide range of activities in Japan, including appearing in the NHK x Taiwan co-production drama “Road: Taiwan Express” (2020) and as a mystery hunter on “World Mysteries Discovery!” For this performance, original songs she wrote and composed herself served as background music, bringing the world of FLAI to life. ■ Booth Area: The “Conversing with AI” Fantasy Experience Was a Big Hit At the FLAI booth in the venue, six fantastical themes were prepared, and visitors participated in an experiential scenario for each theme, guided by dedicated staff. Visitors enjoyed the experience of AI suggesting characters in real time and coming up with a story through conversation. A long line formed at the booth, and visitors took turns interacting with the AI. After the stage performance, Representative Kobayashi visited the FLAI booth. He enjoyed the experience and commented, “I’m glad FLAI is here,” and also participated in a survey. Afterwards, Shu Yiren, Chairman of Taiwan Crossing Multimedia Ltd., the developer of FLAI, exchanged views with Representative Kobayashi about potential future collaboration and expressed his hope for further deepening exchanges between Taiwan and Japan through FLAI.
