Tokyo Performance: November 2nd (Sun) – November 23rd (Sun) Studio AD, the cultural and performing arts division of Aderans Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromasa Suzuki), a global company developing wellness businesses in hair, beauty, health, and medicine, will provide technical support for wigs and hair and makeup for the musical “Baghdad Cafe” (produced by Toho), which will run from Sunday, November 2nd to Sunday, November 23rd at Hibiya Theater Crea (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). The entertainment wigs provided by Aderans are designed not only to look beautiful and natural, but also to reflect the character’s setting and the image of their role. Furthermore, to ensure a comfortable fit, stretchy and breathable materials are used for the netting, and each wig is carefully made to order to fit the cast’s head size. In “Bagdad Cafe,” Mari Hanazawa, who plays Jasmine Munstettner, and Kumiko Mori, who plays Brenda, will be wearing wigs. Studio AD will also be in charge of hair and makeup during the performance.

Brenda, who runs the cafe, is stressed every day by her work and child-rearing responsibilities, and ends up kicking out her useless husband, Sal. Then, a German tourist named Jasmine shows up out of nowhere. She’s had a fight with her husband and has ended up at the cafe. Brenda is suspicious of this unexpected visitor and treats her coldly, but Jasmine’s presence soon begins to soothe the hearts of Brenda, her daughter Phyllis, her son Sal Jr., and the painter Rudy, all of whom gather at the cafe.
