This is the long-awaited 2026 calendar by popular illustrator Yusuke Nakamura, known for his work on ASIAN KANG-FU GENERATION’s CD jackets, cover illustrations for the novels “The Night Is Short, Walk On Girl” and “The Tatami Galaxy” (Tomihiko Morimi, Kadokawa Bunko), and packaging for Asada Ame (candy). Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1978, Nakamura graduated from the Department of Design at Osaka University of Arts. He has worked on numerous illustrations, including CD jackets for ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and Masashi Sada, covers for “The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl” and “After Dinner Mysteries,” music textbook covers, packaging for Asada Ame and Lotte Choco Pie, and more. His diverse creative endeavors also include collaborations with the apparel brand graniph, character design, video streaming, and writing. His traveling exhibitions across Japan have been met with rave reviews. His art books, “Blue” and “NOW” (both published by Asuka Shinsha), have sold over 130,000 copies.
