Association/Communication Creator Born in Los Angeles, USA in 1986. After graduating from university, he worked at a major advertising agency, where he was involved in communications and new business development. After being diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in 2013, he adopted the slogan “KEEP MOVING” and continued to take on new challenges that combine technology and creativity. In 2016, he founded WITH ALS, a general incorporated association. He aims to realize a borderless society by addressing the challenges of ALS through the three fields of entertainment, technology, and nursing care. They have received high praise both at home and abroad for their performances at the Opening Ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, at the 2024 ARS ELECTRONICA, the world’s premier media art festival, and for their EEG robot arm production at the “Sports Future Lab” at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.
[Casting Animanoid VISIONOID “FOX” 】 “FOX” is a next-generation animanoid (a portmanteau of “animal” and “android”) developed by VISIONOID Inc., an autonomous robot capable of both emotional expression and intelligent response. Equipped with natural
conversation capabilities using AI, it was developed as a being that embodies the symbiosis between humans and robots from both the hardware and software perspectives. With smooth movements achieved through high-precision motion control and AI-based learning and emotional expression, the aim is for FOX to have a “lifelike presence” despite being a piece of technology. Due to its sophisticated design and adorable character, development of the IP character into the entertainment industry is also underway. Debuting at the “Tokyo Future Tour 2035,” the character is expected to appear in events and theme parks, appear in media such as television and YouTube, and even serve as a conversation partner at home.
