Starting on Saturday, November 15, 2025, Lake Sagami Illumination, the largest illumination event in the Kanto region featuring 6 million bulbs, will be held at Lake Sagami Illumination! This year’s highlight is the collaboration area with Tamagotchi, the globally beloved digital pet developed by Bandai Co., Ltd.: “Discover Tamagotchi’s Sparkling Illuminations at Lake Sagami!” A rainbow-colored elevator takes you to the area, where you’ll discover the quirky and exciting world of Tamagotchi. The highlight of the park is the special photo spot where you can sit with Mametchi and Kuchipatchi and take commemorative photos in a fantastical space with a sparkling Ferris wheel and moving stars. There are also plenty of story-filled photo spots that you’ll want to share on social media, such as “Minna Shugo! Sparkling Illumination,” where a large gathering of Tamagotchis gather, and an object that recreates the UFO that the Tamagotchis rode on. In addition, the bicycle-style attraction “Blue Sky Pedal,” which just opened in September of this year, will be reborn as “Tamagotchi Starry Sky Pedal” for a limited time during the Illumination event, offering a special experience of riding through the starry sky. In addition to merchandise featuring original illustrations of Tamagotchis enjoying the amusement park, there will also be a wide selection of
collaboration menu items. In addition to a hearty plate featuring a gathering of Tamagotchis, there will also be sweets, hot soup, and more.
