WOWOW Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hitoshi Yamamoto; hereinafter “WOWOW”) will host the Australian Open Japan event “AOJAPAN LAUNCH” (hosted by Tennis Australia, supported by WOWOW) ahead of the broadcast and streaming of the Australian Open, which kicks off on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Event details are as follows: ■Australian Open Tennis Japan Event “AO JAPAN LAUNCH” Date and Time: Saturday, November 1st, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM Location: ARK Karajan Place, ARK Hills (Minato-ku, Tokyo) Organizer: Tennis Australia Sponsor: WOWOW *This event is free to attend and no advance registration is required. The event will feature an exhibition of the trophy that only the winner can receive, wall art by artists, interactive programs that participants can enjoy, and talk events. There will also be a social media campaign where you can win official Australian Open merchandise on a first-come, first-served basis. (Please note that numbers are limited.) WOWOW has been broadcasting the tournament every year since 1992, the year after its launch, and next year will mark its 35th year of broadcasting.
