Official Website “About Our Patents” https://www.abal.jp/business/technology ◆ “A Labyrinth Experience Beyond Reality” Using Patented Technology ◆ Using ABAL’s proprietary XR entertainment platform “Scape(R),” a limited physical space was expanded into a virtual labyrinth spanning eight floors and approximately 1 km in length. With a complex and intricate structure, seemingly endless corridors, and a creepy hospital ward where “something” lurks, this event allowed participants to experience a “horror with no exit” that could not be recreated in reality, and was well attended.

It is a noteworthy technology that enables large-scale operation with a small number of people and expands the possibilities of location-based XR. This development was supported by Campus Create, Inc., which was selected for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s “Tokyo NEXT 5G Boosters Project,” a startup support program utilizing next-generation communications technology. ◆ About ABAL Co., Ltd. ◆ ABAL is a 500 square meter We hold 18 patents related to “spatial augmentation technology,” which allows visitors to experience a virtual space 20 times larger, at 10,000 square meters, even when they are in a real space. Representative patents include technology that allows visitors in the real space to feel as if they are moving through a vast space using elevators and moving panels in a virtual space, even though they are not actually moving. Another patent includes technology that prevents visitors from colliding with each other by changing the avatar representation when they are in different virtual spaces but in the same place in the real space. Leveraging these patents, the platform “Scape(R),” which allows 100 people to experience the same space simultaneously, expands limited real spaces into virtual space, making it possible to create vast, intricate structures in virtual spaces, even in spaces such as commercial facilities where it would be physically difficult to create such an experience. ▼HP: https://www.abal.jp ▼Platform “Scape(R)” LP: https://scape01.abal.jp/lp/scape-lp/ ▼Instagram:
