THEATER (https://the-theater.jp/), which launched its first collection in August, is featuring 23-year-old calligrapher Rino (Rino Instagram THEATER collaborates with people active in various industries to create apparel from scratch. They share on social media and their website why they decided to create each piece, as well as the behind-the-scenes details of how each piece is made and what goes on in the factory. Customers can enjoy the production process and aim to create garments that will be loved for a long time. The next collection, [Rino×THEATER 1st collection], will feature three items: a shirt with a custom-designed name tag and Omi-san bleached finish; the same shirt with Rino’s calligraphy printed on it; and a scarf featuring a large print of a single flower, drawn by calligraphy for the first time. A live performance is scheduled for 1 PM, during which one-of-a-kind shirts featuring the artist’s actual artwork will also be available for purchase. General online orders will be accepted from 9:00 PM on Friday, November 7th to 11:59 PM on Monday, November 10th. SENSE OF WONDER, the spirit of seeing the world with fresh eyes The name of this event, “SENSE OF WONDER,” means “sensitivity to wonder” or “a sense of wonder.” The day is filled with Rino’s hope that people will be able to relive the same excitement and freshness they feel when a child sees something for the first time. I hope that many people will witness her powerful handwriting and her new steps as she aims for the world.

It has a firm texture and a unique texture that softens with use. All sewing and processing is done domestically, so it’s a product we can deliver with confidence. We hope that customers both in Japan and overseas will try it. Furthermore, with the number of factories in Japan decreasing, we would be happy if this could be an opportunity for people to learn about the efforts being made by Japanese factories.
