In 2024, he reached the finals of the “Tsugikuru Entertainer Grand Prix,” “45th ABC Comedy Grand Prix,” “Mynavi Laughter Night,” and “M-1 Grand Prix 2024,” and won his first title at the “NHK New Comedy Awards.” In June 2025, he won the “46th ABC Comedy Grand Prix.” Manabu Kashimoto personal comment I’m just an older manga artist and Evers fan, and I’m so surprised and happy that I was able to draw illustrations for their first nationwide tour, and now they’re even holding a pop-up event! I’ve packed the illustrations with love for Evers and lots of little tidbits!! Please take a look at the details. By the way, my favorite is the illustration from the Tokyo performance! <Kashimoto Manabu Profile> Winner of the 12th Fujiko Fujio Prize in 1986. The following year, he began publishing many manga, primarily in CoroCoro Comic. His most famous work, “Class King Yamazaki,” became a huge hit as a comedy manga and was adapted into an anime. Another of his representative works, “Croquettes!”, won the 48th Shogakukan Manga Award for story manga. He has also serialized works such as “I’m Galileo” and “Kimer’s Yoyo!” He is currently preparing a new manga to be published in “Weekly CoroCoro Comic.”
