[What is SWIMMER?] “SWIMMER” is a general merchandise brand that offers a wide range of products, including clothing, fashion accessories, bags, pouches, wallets, interior goods, and stationery. The brand is known for its cute designs featuring animals, sweets, and other motifs, and has enjoyed popularity for approximately 30 years since 1987, attracting customers of all ages. After its closure in 2018, it was revived in 2020 by a new management company, Patty’s Co., Ltd. To this day, it continues to garner attention as a brand supported not only by its original fans but also by new fans. In 2023, four characters will be introduced under the theme “Squeeze the Cute!”: Hugly the Bear, Riverny the Rabbit, Cammy the Cat, and Raffy the Sheep.
