(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasuyuki Yoshida) will launch the “Home Defensive Ability Test,” a collaboration project with renowned Japanese manga artists Gosho Aoyama and Takuya Mitsuda, on Tuesday, October 28th, as the third installment of the “Defend Home with All Our Strength Project,” which is being carried out together with ambassador Shohei Ohtani.

participants to have fun learning about protecting their precious “homes” from disasters, accidents, crime, and more. There are five questions in total about disaster prevention and crime prevention that are useful in everyday life. Participants will receive a certificate of passing wallpaper illustrated by Gosho Aoyama and Takuya Mitsuda. In 2001, he won the 46th Shogakukan Manga Award in the Boys’ category for “Detective Conan,” which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Takuya Mitsuda Born on June 17th in Hiroshima Prefecture. Blood type O. 1982: Won the 11th Shogakukan Newcomer Comic Award for “Banyuu.” This work marked his debut. 1996: Won the 41st Shogakukan Manga Award for “MAJOR.” “MAJOR 2nd” has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since issue 15 of 2015. Shohei Ohtani Born in Iwate Prefecture in 1994. 193cm tall, 95kg, right-handed pitcher/left-handed batter. Joined the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters as the first pick in the 2012 draft. After joining the Los Angeles Angels in 2018, he won the American League MVP in 2021. In 2023, he became the first Japanese player to win the American League home run title. He also became the first player in history to win the American League MVP award by unanimous vote for the second time. In 2024, he transferred to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He became the first player in Major League history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases. He won the season MVP (National League) award for the third time in two consecutive years.
