Sennyuji Temple (Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City), the imperial temple in Kyoto’s Higashiyama district, will be holding a special autumn early morning viewing every Monday (including holidays) from November 3, 2025 (Monday, national holiday) to December 29, 2025 (Monday). Visitors can enjoy a tour of the inner sanctuary of the Yang Guifei Kannon statue, an Important Cultural Property, as well as a guided tour of the Buddha hall and throne room, and a chance to admire the gardens bathed in autumn leaves. This quiet morning experience will allow you to experience a special moment of prayer and beauty.
