Colorful “pop-up art” that you have to see to believe it High Spirits & Yu, which handles numerous art promotion projects, is pleased to present an exhibition of paintings by Charles Fazzino, a New York-based, internationally active 3D pop art artist, at the Shinjuku Takashimaya department store’s 2nd floor special venue. 3D art is a playful form of artwork created by dividing multiple prints into individual pieces and stacking them one by one. While this art may appear pop at first glance, once framed it exudes a sense of luxury, making it popular not only in homes but also in offices, clinics, and hotels. Fazzino has also collaborated with well-known companies and organizations, including Major League Baseball (MLB), Disney, and the Olympics. Even this year marks his 50th anniversary as an artist, and he continues to energetically create new works.
