HA-LU Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Haruto Oka; hereinafter “HA-LU”), a short drama label that will captivate you in just a few minutes, has partnered with the Tokyo Girls Collection Executive Committee (Planning/Production: W Inc.) In collaboration with Popteen magazine’s “Love Live! Tokyo” and with the cooperation of Hiroshima City, we produced and distributed a trilogy of short vertical dramas starring Popteen model Rei Mukai: “Shinto,” “Miyajima Koibito,” and “Suki na Hito to Suki na Hito.” Since their release on Friday, October 3rd, the series has surpassed 5.3 million total views. This work is a life-sized story woven by a cast and director from Hiroshima, with the themes of love, friendship, and youth. In conjunction with “Hiromatsu Holdings presents TGC HIROSHIMA 2025 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION,” scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, this project is being developed as a “new form of regional revitalization” that spreads the charm of Hiroshima nationwide through video. ■ Total views exceed 5.3 million! A bittersweet tale of youth woven by a cast and director from Hiroshima. Mukai plays a high school girl from Hiroshima who, during a school trip to Miyajima, ends up in the same group as a boy (Miyamoto Renya) she has a crush on, due to a lucky draw. As they stroll around and take commemorative photos in front of the great torii gate, the two gradually grow closer. This one-minute short drama captures a fleeting moment of innocent youth. This series stars Rei Mukai, a Hiroshima native and exclusive Popteen model, and is directed by Shohei Matsuura, a video director affiliated with HA-LU who is also from Hiroshima.

Making use of the scenery and atmosphere of each city, the series depicts the true-to-life stories of high school students in one-minute short vertical dramas. All three stories feature the same characters, and can be enjoyed as a single coming-of-age story, connecting “Best Friends,” “Miyajima Love Weather,” and “The One I Like.” ■ Distribution Details Distribution Date: Friday, October 3, 2025 Distribution Destination: TGC Official TikTok

By portraying the local scenery, culture, and warmth of the people through romance and friendship in a life-size way, the films communicate the “charm of Hiroshima in everyday life” in a new way. These films are neither tourist films nor promotional material; rather, they deliver a realistic portrayal of Hiroshima today as stories told from the perspectives of local people. This series was produced as part of efforts leading up to “Hiromatsu Holdings presents TGC HIROSHIMA 2025 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION,” scheduled to be held at Hiroshima Green Arena on Saturday, December 6th. We will continue to develop initiatives to accompany regional revitalization and promoting the appeal of companies through vertical short dramas. I speak in Hiroshima dialect on a daily basis, and I also speak in Hiroshima dialect in this short drama, so I think it’s a work that will make you feel the heart-fluttering emotions and friendship that come from being real with me. So, rather than just capturing the scenery beautifully, I focused on the people who live there. These three films are actually connected as a single story. Following the flow of “Best Friends,” followed by “Miyajima Koibito,” followed by “The Person I Love,” this series depicts the youth of three people: Rei, Kokoro, and Renya. Due to the format of a short drama, we were only able to depict a small part of the story, but I think viewers will be able to enjoy it more if they can imagine the “blank parts” of the story that are not depicted. My favorite scene is when Kokoro purposely rips open Rei’s paper bag in “Miyajima Koi Biyori” to assist her in her love life. The expression on Kokoro’s face after Rei and Renya leave is particularly amazing, so be sure to pay attention to it when you watch (lol).

Representative Director and CEO Oka Haruto I feel that this project is a very meaningful endeavor as it attempts to convey the charm of local areas in a new format, the form of a short drama. I empathize with the TGC Regional Revitalization Project’s initiative to “spread the appeal of regional cities,” and I am honored to have been a part of it. Short dramas have the power to convey landscapes and human activities naturally and emotionally. I feel that the realism and warmth that can only be conveyed through short videos could become one form of regional revitalization in the future. I hope that many people will watch and experience the new charms of Hiroshima. ■ Work summary vol.1 “Shintomo” Starring: Rei Mukai, Kokoro Kato Director: Shohei Matsuura (HA-LU) Filming Locations: Hiroshima Shudo University Hiroshima Collaborative Creation Junior and Senior High School, Kure City; Karuga Seaside Park, Hiroshima City; MO-MO-MILK, Hiroshima City; Koteju Kogo Main Branch, Hiroshima City, Aioibashi, Hiroshima City Vol. 2 “Miyajima Koi Biyori” Starring: Rei Mukai, Renya Miyamoto, Kokoro Kato, Soraki Nakayama Director: Shohei Matsuura (HA-LU) Filming Locations: Hiroshima Shudo University Hiroshima Collaborative Creation Junior and Senior High School, Miyajima, Hatsukaichi City, Hatsukaichi City Itsukushima Shrine Vol.3 “The One I Love and the One I Love” Starring: Mukai Rei, Miyamoto Renya Director: Shohei Matsuura (HA-LU) Filming Locations: Hiroshima Station, Hiroshima City; “Eemon-ya” Hondori Shopping Street, Onomichi City; Senkoji Ropeway, Onomichi City Senkoji Summit Observatory “PEAK,” Onomichi City; Senkoji Temple, Onomichi City Produced by: HA-LU Co., Ltd.
