He joined Tower Records Co., Ltd. in 2002, where he mainly worked as a buyer for Western music CD singles. He then worked in the editorial department of Bounce, and in 2007 began interviewing and writing as a freelance writer, focusing on anime music. In 2010, he became involved in editing and writing for the anime music magazine “LisAni!”, and became editor-in-chief in 2016. In addition to being a music writer, he is currently active in a wide range of fields, including lecturing at universities and vocational schools, hosting events, and producing music. In April 2025, he will launch the music media “AMJ -Anime Music Journal-” on YouTube. This is his first solo work.
