https://real.uminazo.jp/shinchan/osakana-project/ ■Event overview A real-life mystery-solving event featuring the main characters of the popular anime “Crayon Shin-chan,” “The Mystery of the Kasukabe Defense Force and the Human Fish Plan,” will be held at the Marine World Uminonakamichi aquarium in Fukuoka Prefecture from Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to Sunday, March 1, 2026. This hands-on event, where participants are challenged to solve mysteries at an aquarium, will be held for the first time in the Kyushu region. During the event, various collaboration goods will be on sale, and you can fully experience the world of “Crayon Shin-chan” through special explanatory panels and decorations, familiar background music, and Shin-chan’s original voice. The costumes of Shin-chan and the other five members of the Kasukabe Defense Force were designed specifically for this event and feature popular creatures from “Marine World,” such as the grey nurse shark and the finless porpoise. New characters original to the game also appear in the mystery-solving story! We will take on the mystery of the “Human Fish Plan” devised by the genius scientist Sakana Mamoru, who loves aquatic creatures.

Using clue panels installed throughout the venue, participants will use their knowledge of the ecology and characteristics of aquatic creatures to solve the mystery. In the second half of the story, participants will consider the various anomalies and problems occurring in the aquatic world, including the oceans and rivers, as they take on the final mission. Through solving the mystery, participants can learn about aquatic creatures and environmental issues in a fun and natural way. Because the aquarium is also an educational institution, we aimed to create a full-fledged mystery-solving event that allows participants to both play and learn.
