The voting project “Panda no Ana Gachademi Prize” will also be held from November 1st. Panda no Ana, a gacha(R) (capsule toy) brand developed by Takara Tomy Arts Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Toshihisa Kondo, Headquarters: Katsushika-ku, Tokyo), a member of the Takara Tomy Group, will celebrate its 100th item in the series with the release of a new product in December of this year, counting from the first product released in 2013. To commemorate this, the 100th item, “Gyugyu,” will be designated as the “100th Item Commemorative Product” and a commemorative campaign will be held. In addition, to express our gratitude to all users who have supported “Panda no Ana” for approximately 12 years, we will be holding a participatory voting project, the “Panda no Ana Gacha Academy Award,” from Saturday, November 1, 2025 to Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Commemorative campaign to be held! Counting from the first “Panda no Ana” product, “Shark Fry,” released in September 2013, “Gyugyu,” scheduled for release in December 2025, will be the 100th product. “Gyugyu” is a product that aims to be “the cutest and most cunning product in the gacha world,” with a “packed” collection of animals. It’s a 360-degree view, so you’ll have fun finding your favorite angle. In addition, to celebrate reaching 100 items, we have decided to hold a “GyuGyu Tote Bag Campaign” at approximately 65 gacha stores nationwide. Penny was the first company in Japan to install gacha machines, and has designated February 17th, its founding anniversary, as “Gacha Day.” Penny’s parent company, Takara Tomy Arts, entered the capsule toy business in 1988 through its predecessor, Eugene Co., Ltd. For over 30 years since then, the company has been planning, manufacturing and selling capsule vending machines (gacha machines) and the toys inside them, and its capsule toy brand has become known by the familiar trademark “Gacha(R).” Currently, the company releases 40 to 60 new items per month, or approximately 600 new items per year.
