The “CLASSY. Business Masterpiece Award” will be held for the second time in the October 2025 issue. This time, among the commuting masterpieces, we’ve added an “Outerwear Award,” a must-have item for fall and winter, and revamped the award categories for fall and winter! We invited entries from a variety of brands, including apparel, bags, and shoes, for “Business Masterpiece Items” that they would confidently recommend to working women of the “CLASSY.” generation. In late August, a total of 80 CLASSY. readers and editorial staff tried on many of the items that passed the first round of document screening and then voted. Each person selected one Grand Prize winner and one award winner per category to determine the winning items. The judging session, in which readers actually saw, tried on, and chose from a wide variety of items, was well-received by readers. Comments included, “I can get an early look at fall/winter trends,” “It’s helpful for planning my fall/winter shopping!” and “It makes me want to update my work clothes.” Winning brands were also informed of the reasons for their selection and shared what readers and staff thought of the items. We also provided winning brands with an “award logo” for a fee, and many brands have decided to use the “CLASSY.
