CRAZY BUMP Inc., which organizes and manages special exhibitions themed around subcultures such as manga, anime, and special effects, is pleased to announce information about the “CITY HUNTER -RETRO POP DAYS” POP UP STORE in Shiga, which will be held at the Plugs Market Kusatsu store from Friday, November 14, 2025 to Tuesday, December 2, 2025. In the 1980s, Ryo and Kaori were the legendary duo who raced through the glittering streets of Tokyo. “City Hunter,” depicting their exploits, will be back at the POP UP STORE this year! This popular annual project is now in its fifth year, and this year marks the 40th anniversary of the serialization of “City Hunter”! A pop-up store featuring nostalgic yet new artwork and items that bring together the worldview representative of 80’s pop culture in a modern update will open at the Plugs Market Kusatsu store from Friday, November 14, 2025. The venue will be filled with merchandise themed around nostalgic scenes from the original manga, as well as original apparel with retro designs.
