Japanese Standards Association Press release: October 30, 2025 To Members of the Press [Also available for electronic viewing!] We are now accepting pre-orders for the January 2026 edition of the JIS Handbook, which condenses JIS standards by field! Manage the latest JIS standards for your specific field with just one handbook! In January, we will be publishing Steel I-1, Welding I, Environmental Measurement II, Electrical Equipment I-1, etc. The Japanese Standards Association (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Hiroshi Asahi) will publish the January 2026 edition of the JIS Handbook on Friday, January 30, 2026. The JIS Handbook compiles the major JIS standards by field into one volume, making it more affordable than purchasing them individually. Its A5 size also makes it convenient to carry around.
