A new mobile online game based on the TV anime “My Hero Academia” is scheduled to be released sometime in 2026. What is the TV anime “My Hero Academia”? This TV anime is based on the hugely popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) from 2014 to 2024. The original manga series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The TV anime series has been a hit since the first season aired in 2016, and the eighth and final season, “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON,” began airing in October 2025 on 29 stations nationwide affiliated with Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. The series has also enjoyed great popularity both domestically and internationally, with four feature films released to date. In addition, the official spin-off, “Vigilante: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS,” has also been adapted into a TV anime, with the second season scheduled to begin airing in January 2026, and the series will continue to develop.
