CS Satellite Theater CS Satellite Theater will broadcast the TV premiere of “Koe Kabu: Enjoy Kabuki Readings – Plum, Pine, and Cherry Blossoms,” which was held at the Mitsukoshi Theater in August 2025, for three consecutive nights starting Friday, November 28th! The satellite broadcast “Satellite Theater” will broadcast the “Koe Kabu Kabuki Readings – Plum, Pine and Cherry Blossoms” performance, which took place at the Mitsukoshi Theater in August 2025, for the first time on television for three consecutive nights starting Friday, November 28th. The fourth installment of “Koe Kabu,” a voice kabuki series featuring a star-studded cast of voice actors, is “Plum, Pine, and Cherry Blossoms.” The episode featuring Kenji Nojima, Daisuke Namikawa, and Shugo Nakamura will air on Friday, November 28th, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Daiki Yamashita, and Shun Horie on Saturday, November 29th, and Soichiro Hoshi, Kappei Yamaguchi, and Yu Hatanaka on Sunday, November 30th. [Screenplay/Direction] Takaya Okamoto [Cast] Soichiro Hoshi, Kappei Yamaguchi, Tasuku Hatanaka [Ambassador] Nakamura Yonekichi *After-talk only The fourth installment of the Koekabu Kabuki Reading Series, an original kabuki reading drama performed by a stellar cast of voice actors, is titled “Plum Blossoms, Pine Trees, and Cherry Blossoms.” This original performance of “Sugawara Denju Tenarai Kagami,” one of the three great Kabuki masterpieces, focuses on the triplet brothers (Umeomaru, Matsuomaru, and Sakuramaru) who are burdened with a destiny. “Kurumahiki,” in which brothers are divided into allies and enemies, “Ka no Iwai,” which depicts Sakuramaru’s final moments, Through famous scenes such as “Terakoya,” in which Matsuomaru’s heart-wrenching decision to sacrifice his own child is revealed, the story deeply depicts universal sorrows such as the separation between parent and child, between master and servant, and between siblings. With the unique expression of “Koe Kabu,” we bring you moving stories that are loved across generations. An after-talk with ambassador Yonekichi Nakamura will also be broadcast after the main program!
