Miraiya Bookstore Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mihama-ku, Chiba City; President and CEO: Masataka Hirakawa), a member of the AEON Group, will reopen its Miraiya Bookstore Itabashi store on the fourth floor of AEON Itabashi Shopping Center on Saturday, November 1, 2025. For the reopening, Taro Miura, picture book author and current visiting professor at Joshibi University of Art and Design, was tasked with overseeing the Miraiya no Mori children’s book section. The design was created by current students at Joshibi University of Art and Design under the direction of part-time lecturer Yuko Sugiyama. We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an opening ceremony on Saturday, November 1st at 10:30 AM, featuring Taro Miura.
