Chang Hai Lun Acrobatic Troupe (from left): Chair Stand, Dragon Dance, and Face Changing The “New Year’s Family Lunch & Dinner” is a one-day-only event where you can enjoy a gorgeous Japanese and Western buffet along with traditional New Year’s entertainment, including acrobatic troupe tricks and dynamic dance performances. The Japanese and Western buffet includes a variety of Western dishes prepared by our chefs and New Year’s dishes, as well as the hotel’s signature roast beef, carved right before your eyes and a live kitchen where the chef prepares the food on the spot, all adding to the celebratory atmosphere. While you enjoy your meal, you will be treated to a light-hearted and entertaining talk by the master of ceremonies and stand-up comedy, “Aozora Cute,” and a performance of traditional performing arts by the authentic Chinese acrobatic troupe “Zhang Hailin Acrobatic Troupe,” the good luck and celebratory rice cake pounding “Amatsukaze,” and the dynamic lion dance “Arigato Shishi.” At the end of the event, we’ll be holding a “New Year’s Luck Test! Grand Raffle” where you can try your luck in the New Year with fantastic prizes, including accommodation vouchers for group hotels and meal vouchers for Hotel Nikko Tsukuba.
