Two-time Grammy Award-winner Sabrina Carpenter’s seventh album, “Man’s Best Friend,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It set a new record for first-week units, album sales, and first-week streams for a female artist in 2025. This marks her second consecutive album to top the chart, following her previous album, “Short & Sweet,” released in 2024. The Japanese CD release includes lyrics and translations, and a photo card (one of two designs, chosen randomly) will be included as a first-come, first-served bonus for general purchasers, including those purchasing through the online shop. Man’s Best Friend is a record that combines Sabrina’s witty lyrics, addictive pop melodies, and clever, bold songwriting. Featuring 12 tracks, Sabrina co-wrote the album with longtime collaborators Aimee Allen, Jack Antonoff, and John Ryan, and co-produced with Jack and John. The lead single, “Manchild,” reached No. 1 on the US Hot 100, marking her second No. 1 since “Please Please Please” from last year’s “Short & Sweet.” To commemorate the release of the Japanese version, starting on Friday, October 31st, Tower Records Shibuya and Tower Records Umeda NU Chayamachi will be setting up a “photo spot” where you can take a photo with a giant photo of Sabrina, as well as a “support notebook” where you can write a message to Sabrina.
