(C) SHINICHI ISHIZUKA 2025 The contemporary philharmonic pop orchestra, Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic, has been confirmed to perform at the main performance of the “MONTREUEX JAZZ FESTIVAL JAPAN 2025” on Sunday, December 7th. In addition to providing music for a wide range of genres, including film and stage productions, Hasunuma, the orchestra’s leader, continues to actively work on sound projects for his solo projects. This impressive ensemble of 15 musicians is sure to be a stage that showcases the breadth of their accomplished careers. In addition, a special stage celebrating the legendary Herbie Hancock, who turned 85 and has been active as an artist for over 60 years, will feature a collaboration unique to “MJFJ.” Three talented guests will be joining the stage: legendary Japanese pianist Makoto Ozone, saxophonist Tomoaki Baba, and drummer Shun Ishiwaka.
