The top two players in cumulative points from each region will advance to the finals in April. Anomaly Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kantaro Kanda) will be hosting the KIDS qualifying event, “Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026 KIDS KANSAI,” one of the categories in “Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026,” the world’s largest solo dance battle, originating in Japan. In the future, we will be holding preliminary competitions in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kanto, Chubu, Chugoku, Kansai, and Kyushu in preparation for the final tournament, “Mynavi DANCEALIVE 2026 FINAL,” scheduled to be held in April 2026.

Dancers compete one-on-one, improvising one move at a time to music played by a DJ. Only the DJ knows the song being played, and the winner is determined by the most judges’ votes. The rules are simple: Dance Alive is divided into six categories, with preliminary rounds through the finals. Competitions are divided by dance style, with five styles—HOUSE, BREAKING, HIPHOP, ALL STYLES, and POPPING—making up the general division, known as GENERAL. There is also a KIDS division for junior high school students and younger, known as the All Styles Battle. Preliminaries are held in eight regions across the country—Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, and Kyushu—and participants compete throughout the year for a spot in the finals, which are held in April. [Participation Requirements] Must be a junior high school student or younger at the time of participation. *Students who will have graduated by the time of the final competition in April 2026 are also eligible to participate. [Style] A 1-on-1 battle for all styles. Dance genres and styles are not important. [Conditions for Advancing to the Finals] Participants will be awarded points based on their performance in regional qualifying tournaments held throughout the year. In addition to the top two players in cumulative points from each region, two players (WILDCARD slots) who win the “WILDCARD Championship” held the day before the finals will advance to the finals. *The FINAL will feature a tournament between dancers who advanced from the preliminary rounds. *Points are combined for each region. Points earned in different regions cannot be combined. [WILDCARD Championship] The final preliminary round for the WILDCARD spots will be held the day before the finals. – Eligible participants: Players who rank third in the points ranking in each region. – Eligibility requirements: Eligible participants must be residents of the relevant region. Region allocation will follow the [Area] below. (Example: A dancer living in Kanto who is ranked third in the Tohoku region in points will not be able to participate. Only dancers living in Tohoku who have earned the most points from third place onwards will be eligible to participate.) – If two or more dancers living in the same region have the same number of points: Multiple dancers will be granted the right to participate, regardless of whether they have won before. *Even if you have graduated from junior high school by the time of this final qualifying round, you will not be able to participate in the GENERAL qualifying round. [Number of qualifying rounds] A total of three qualifying rounds will be held in each region: “Vol. 1,” “Vol. 2,” and “CLIMAX” (24 rounds in total across eight regions nationwide). [Qualifying locations] Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, Hokuriku, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, and Kyushu (8 regions in total). *There are no entry restrictions based on area of residence, etc.
