Shonan Kamakura General Hospital (Address: 1370-1 Okamoto, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Hospital Director: Shuzo Kobayashi) will be holding its annual “Hospital Festival” as follows. The purpose of this event is to help local residents learn, think, and experience medical care, bringing it closer to them. This year’s theme is “Building the Hospital of the Future Together,” and we will be hosting a variety of programs for everyone to enjoy, including exhibitions, experiences, and sales booths by local companies and cooperating organizations. In addition, we will be hosting a special talk show with Daisuke Miura, Kanagawa Prefecture’s pre-illness leader and former manager of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. The talk will cover topics such as his “ME-BYO” (pre-illness prevention) initiative, which focuses on health through sports and music, his personal health regimen, and his experiences as a coach, making it enjoyable for people of all ages. After the event, there will be opportunities for media members to take photos and participate in press interviews. We hope you will consider covering the event.
