The “Children’s Cultural Festival,” where children can enjoy traditional Japanese culture and music, will be held at Takatsuki Castle Park Arts and Culture Theater on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The festival is packed with fun programs, including koto and tea ceremony experience corners, music appreciation, puppet shows, and crafts. This event has been held annually since 2014 with the aim of encouraging children to become interested in culture and the arts through a variety of experiences, including traditional Japanese culture, music, and art. A koto experience corner will be set up at the venue. You can experience the charm of the koto up close by playing the traditional instrument with an instructor, creating beautiful sounds, or listening to a mini concert led by the
instructor. You can also experience a tea ceremony, where you can learn how to prepare and prepare matcha tea while savoring delicious sweets, and learn about Japanese etiquette and consideration.
