The Tokyo International Projection Mapping Award is one of Japan’s largest projection mapping contests, established with the aim of discovering and nurturing the core talent of the future content industry and promoting the sophistication and spread of the spatial imaging technology known as projection mapping. The winning works will be selected from the entries and announced at a screening to be held at Tokyo Big Sight in November 2025. The “NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden” was planned by Chuck Wilson in 2010 with the aim of helping as many people who were unemployed due to depression and other reasons to return to society. Through the sport of “ekiden,” we hope to help as many socially vulnerable, unemployed people as possible return to society and support those in need due to disasters occurring around the country. That is the theme of the “NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden.” ◆How to Enjoy the Venue This year marks the 14th anniversary of the event, and while registration has already closed, there are plenty of activities for non-runners to enjoy, including baseball classes and dance performances. Baseball Class by Former Professional Baseball Player Hironori Ishige This is a baseball school for baseball lovers. Aimed primarily at parents, coaches, and other baseball lovers who support youth baseball, the school will teach technical skills and human etiquette through baseball, focusing on the “Three Postures” fundamental concepts taught at the Ishige Baseball School. Charity Musical “Lively Kids☆” by Sarasa Dancing Park with Star Kids This year’s title is “Lively Kids.” We’ll be bringing you dance performances by adorable and energetic kids. Food Trucks & Food Stalls Various shops and food trucks will be set up at the venue. Enjoy gourmet food under the autumn sky with friends and family. A festive atmosphere of cosplay runners and cheering Many participants runner in cosplay, creating a fun atmosphere even just to watch.
