Mickey Curtis, known for his many talents as a musician, actor, and rakugo performer, will be holding a solo exhibition, “Happy Painter Mickey Curtis Art Exhibition,” at Y2 STUDIO in Hatsudai, Tokyo, from Friday, November 7th to Monday, November 17th. Mickey Curtis first began painting at the age of 77, and has continued to paint every day without fail. This will be his third solo exhibition, following his first in 2022. His motifs are primarily animals, ranging from familiar creatures like dogs and cats to wild animals like those found on safaris. Even in works that may appear the same at first glance, the evolution and change that is unique to Mickey Curtis, who has a strong sense of curiosity and a wide range of experiences, is evident.
