They’ve also released a super-long web commercial and the first of a 54-Eve countdown video! In the post-shoot interview, Manaka said, “I want to win the bodybuilding championship,” Nakagawa said, “I want to make the Ham-Ham Republic a reality,” and while some unusual requests were made to Santa, Matsumoto spoke strongly of his desire, saying, “I want to appear on the Red and White Song Battle!” Meiji Co., Ltd.

seven-member idol group FRUITS ZIPPER on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The “NEW OKASHI PROJECT,” which uses sweets to liven up and update Japan’s “special occasions” (seasonal events) that have given birth to special, fun times and memories, will begin its second year on July 7, 2025. The theme for the second year is “Make it a little better.” Together with FRUITS ZIPPER, the “Meiji Sweets Ambassador,” we will provide ways to liven up and update “special occasions” with sweets through a “new standard” experience that adds a little creativity to Meiji sweets. The highlight of the commercial is that it’s presented as a single, long horizontal video. “It’s the season when everyone gets excited, so it’s okay to enjoy it as many times as you like. Whether it’s Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve Eve, or Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve, say Merry Christmas with Meiji sweets,” the members of FRUITS ZIPPER deliver the message in a narrated message. On social media, members of FRUITS ZIPPER will be releasing short vertical videos counting down the days until Christmas Eve with “Eve Eve Eve Eve…” The first video will be simultaneously released, featuring Tsukiashi counting down 54 times with “Eve Eve Eve Eve…”

The scene then shifts to the night before Christmas Eve, December 23rd. Exhausted from the preparations, Hayase and Manaka fall asleep, and the other members rush over to them. The scene then shifts back to the party venue. The video ends with everyone saying “Merry Christmas!”

Chinzei: I realized that we’ve never really dressed up as Santa Claus and carried a gift around our shoulders to hand out presents to everyone, so I’d like to hold an event where everyone can dress up as Santa Claus, hand out sweets, and spread happiness. Q. If you could make a wish to Santa, what would it be? Manaka: For me, it would be to “fill Japan with FRUITS ZIPPERs.” Recently, we’ve all been chosen as regular models, appearing on various TV shows, and appearing in various advertisements like this. So, we want to create a world where FRUITS ZIPPER is everywhere, whether you’re watching TV, watching a commercial, or walking down the street. Our big goal is to “fill Japan with FRUITS ZIPPER.” Chinzei: Manafi (Manaka Mana) also has her own personal dream, right? Manaka: (The members) have been secretly writing this for a while now… but I didn’t write it. My Christmas wish is “To win a bodybuilding competition (or pro wrestling would be fine).” That’s a bit too half-hearted, isn’t it? I’ll do my best and make a chocolate bar abs Valentine’s Day gift. Nakagawa: And here’s my dream. “To become a Living National Treasure in Japan and realize the Ham-Ham Republic.” I thought that was a pretty bold statement, so I added the “manji” at the end to show my determination. The shoot begins with everyone decorating a Christmas tree and saying “Merry Christmas” in unison. Noticing the making-of camera, Nakagawa opens his eyes wide and shows off his signature funny faces. Chinzei reported to the behind-the-scenes camera that Hayase had stepped on his foot, saying, “He stepped on my foot.” The two of them shared a memorable laugh as Hayase tried to say something but was at a loss for words. In the cake-making scene, Matsumoto whisks the cream while saying, “I’m so happy,” and Manaka emotionally remarks, “A cake shop! That’s my dream for the future.” In between takes, Nakagawa and Chinzei could be seen dancing the choreography and discussing the difficult parts of the dance. In the scene where Chinzei tosses a gift box to Sakurai, the original plan was for him to turn around and catch it, but this proved too difficult, so they ended up catching it while facing each other. Furthermore, Sakurai and Hayase noticed the scent of cake on the table. As Sakurai inhaled the scent vigorously, Hayase commented, “That’s suspicious (lol).” Finally, each FRUITS ZIPPER member was presented with a bouquet of flowers in their assigned color, and the shoot concluded in a warm and cozy atmosphere.
