Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the emotional wounds of the citizens of the prefecture have not healed.
The situation where Okinawa has not yet regained its vitality continues. Let’s transform the desire for symbolic revival into the vitality of Okinawa. In 2019, under such a motive, companies in the prefecture co-sponsored “Shuri Castle Umuino Light Project” was launched.
This autumn, when the “Kohiki ceremony” will be held with the start of construction of the main hall of Shurijo Castle,
“Shuri Castle Umuino Light Project” for the first time in two years, A “Lantern Walk” will be held to deliver the light of hope to Shurijo Castle. Together with the fantastic lantern lights, we hope to brighten up Okinawa and give energy and courage.
