This event, which will be held in Koto Ward, Tokyo on Sunday, October 30, 2022, is an autumn sports event that can be enjoyed by the whole family, from children to adults. With the aim of stimulating interest in sports among children who are becoming less active and are concerned about declining physical strength, we encourage them to experience the joy and wonder of moving their bodies with their families and friends, thereby heightening their passion for sports and promoting more sports. It is an initiative to spread the number of sports lovers by coming to like. Daiwa Cycle, which hopes that children will find bicycles to be irreplaceable treasures, sympathizes with this philosophy and wants to increase the number of children who incorporate bicycles into their daily exercise. We will hold a test ride experience event for the running bike “Strider”.
A running bike (balance bike) is a two-wheeled playground equipment without pedals, and you move forward by kicking the ground with your feet. At first, it starts with the feeling of walking, and gradually the time when both feet are off the ground increases. A sense of balance between the left and right is cultivated, so you will be able to smoothly transition to the bicycle. For children, bicycles are companions that take them to places they have never seen before, and Daiwa Cycle hopes that bicycles will become irreplaceable treasures. However, because it is difficult to ride a bicycle, some children have a feeling that they are not good at it. For this reason, Daiwa Cycle recommends running bikes as a gateway for everyone to discover the joy and fun of cycling.
