GMO Internet Group (Representative: Masatoshi Kumagai) announced today, October 3, 2022 (Monday) that long-distance men’s track and field athlete Hironori Kishimoto (currently a fourth-year student at Aoyama Gakuin University) will be affiliated. Kishimoto, who has decided to belong to this time, won the section prize in the 2nd section of the 31st Izumo All Japan University Ekiden Race in 2019, and the section prize in the 7th section in the 98th Tokyo-Hakone Round Trip University Ekiden Race in 2022. Contributed to winning the overall championship. He has continued to perform well this season, breaking personal bests in the 5000m, 10000m, and half marathon, and is leading the team as the ace of Aoyama Gakuin University. In the future, the GMO Internet Group will use all its strengths to support athletes so that they can concentrate on their competitive activities as members of society.
