Shunsuke Tomita and Kotomi Ushigome, current fourth-year students and former representative directors of Daito Bunka University, established “Gokiccho Co., Ltd.” in August 2021. Our company operates under the rule that third-year university students take over as president from generation to generation. Currently, Junta Murao, Rintaro Kadota, and Shion Tajima, who are currently third-year students, have taken over as representative directors, and are working to create a quail farm in Itabashi Ward, and 1. create new opportunities for people with disabilities and other people who are difficult to get along with in a normal workplace. 2. In recent years, there has been an increase in efforts to address SDGs, and the employment of people with disabilities is also attracting attention. However, the environment is still not ready. The activity started with the idea that the urban livestock industry x job creation activities that we are working on will have a small impact on the world and become an opportunity to change society.
The farm site was unofficially decided last year, and we were preparing to build a barn there. However, for various reasons, it was found that building a barn there would not be possible, and in April of this year the plan was scrapped.
We are currently looking for a new livestock barn site, but it is expected that it will take some time to acquire the site. In that case, I decided to open a restaurant first, so I started looking for a property for a store, which led to the opening of this cafe. ◆Activities so far
For market research and product development, we rented a rental kitchen “Kameya Kitchen” (40-5 Oyama-cho, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo) located in Happy Road Oyama Shopping Street in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo. We have been manufacturing and selling egg puddings and sandwiches.

The number of repeat customers gradually increased, and we were able to consistently exceed our initial goal of [sales of 50,000 yen/day and 100 puddings/day].
At the sales event on June 11th, we recorded record high sales of 84,000 yen/day, and we have received support from various people. In August of this year, we opened a store at “Z Generation President Week”, a project of “SHIBUYA BASE” operated by the online shop creation service “BASE”. We sold “Shiawase Plenty” for 6 days as a pop-up in Shibuya Modi.
