The certified NPO Global Citizens’ Association (Saga City, President: Hisao ) is a public interest incorporated foundation sponsored by the Kamenori Foundation (Tokyo, President: Shinsuke Kimura) to learn about knowledge of multicultural coexistence and organizational management. I will be in charge of the operation of the Kamenori Multicultural Symbiosis School 2022 in the Kyushu area (Saga prefecture venue). We are looking for 20 participants for the training that will be held in December and February 2023.

The Kamenori Foundation has been unable to carry out international exchange projects due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that has continued since 2020. supported activities in Japan under the theme of multicultural coexistence. Currently, in Japan, while the need and momentum for acceptance of foreigners and coexistence measures are increasing, in view of the situation in which there is a shortage of people who will lead the promotion in the region, it is an urgent task to develop those leaders and the organization that promotes the business. In 2022, we will hold workshops and network conferences to nurture leaders and build networks for multicultural coexistence at three venues: Tokyo, Chugoku/Shikoku (Hiroshima), and Kyushu (Saga). We will be in charge of the Kyushu district.

This time, we invited Mr. Hideto Kawakita, representative of IHOE (International Institute for Human, Organization and the Earth), and Mr. Taro Tamura, representative director of the Diversity Research Institute, as lecturers. , survey methods for regional issues, and organizational management. Ultimately, we plan and formulate an activity plan for multicultural coexistence. The participants whose plans have been selected in each district will be announced at the “Network Conference for Supporters of Multicultural Coexistence” to be held in Tokyo in March 2023. In addition, for projects that have been adopted after screening, part of the activity funds will be subsidized by the Kamenori Foundation.

establishing IIHOE in 1994. In addition to supporting the management of civic groups and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we are building a foundation for cooperation between civic groups and governments. Born in Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture. Participated in the
establishment of the “Foreigner Earthquake Information Center” to provide information to foreign victims immediately after the Great Hanshin Earthquake. In October of the same year, he became the secretary general following the organizational change to the Multicultural Center. In 2005, he was in charge of multicultural projects as a councilor of the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations. In addition, as a member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ “Regional Multicultural Coexistence Promotion Study Group”, we participated in the formulation of the “Multicultural Coexistence Promotion Plan” compiled by the ministry in March 2006. He continues to propose initiatives to transform local communities. In 2007, he established the Diversity Research Institute. As a representative, he expanded his activities to promote diversity through corporate social responsibility and local government policies.
