This award has been held since last year, and aims to visualize and disseminate examples of initiatives, promote understanding in the world, and grow people, organizations, and society. With the introduction of job-based systems and human capital management, this movement is accelerating. I also paid attention to what I was showing. After a rigorous examination by the judges, the Grand Prix, Semi-Grand Prix, Judge’s Award, Special Award, and Encouragement Award were awarded.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for the many applications received this time. At the first judging session, the focus of discussion was on “What is the alumni’s ‘type’?” You were creating a definite “form”, such as building relationships and setting evaluation indicators. The theme for this year was “sustainability”. It can be said that the success or failure of the alumni depends on whether or not they have a perspective of “both near and far”, which is how to continue in the medium to long term, along with the launch. From the many initiatives that we received, we were able to get a strong awareness of the problem of sustainability. In addition, it became clear that the base of alumni is steadily expanding, including not only companies that everyone knows, but also companies that are known to those in the know, communities, and schools. Now that “human capital management” is becoming a major trend, I once again felt that the alumni’s efforts have the potential to serve as a filter that asks companies and society about their essence.
YeeY Co., Ltd. Co-Founder/Representative Director Yuka Shimada I am very happy to be involved in the Alumni Awards again for the second year. Just like last year, I worried, worried, worried… and finally made the final decision after suffering. Above all, I would like to tell you that the thoughts, activities, and actions of everyone who applied for this award are truly wonderful. There is no right or wrong here, but the background to this decision is that I felt that the world would be a better place if the world knew about it. I am keenly aware that employment is definitely changing to individual needs, as “alumni” is becoming more pervasive, and human resources are being maximized and activated through the use of “alumni”. . I received energy from every application, and I noticed that I was getting more and more energetic after watching this year. I think it would be wonderful if those who are already aware of the power of alumni and those who are in the future are empowered by this award.
Money Forward Co., Ltd. Director and Executive Officer CFO Naoya Kanasaka This was my first time participating in the judging process for this award, but it was really difficult to select as all the applicants were making unique and essential efforts. Among them, from my point of view, I would like to have them participate in the selection from the perspectives of setting clear goals for the company, tying them to the medium-term management plan, deep commitment of the management, stance of being close to the alumni, unique efforts and results. Thank you. I have great hopes that the relationship between alumni and companies will change for the better in the future to revitalize the Japanese economy, and I sincerely hope that such initiatives will spread throughout the world.
Takashi Iwamoto, Industry-University Collaboration Professor, Faculty of Science, Yamagata University
Up until now, I had been using Alumni Relations Management’s cloud application as an Alumnus user, but I felt that Alumni Relations Management is starting to become important as a company’s management strategy as a result of the review this time. . I was particularly impressed by the fact that every company is under pressure to transform, and the use of alumni, who are deeply knowledgeable about both their own company and other companies, is beginning to play a major role in transforming companies. I hope that this kind of movement will grow further with the results of each company in the future.
Hackazouk Co., Ltd. Representative Hitoshi Suzuki
In this award, which was the second time, we could see the
“characteristics” of each company, individual, and group in the efforts of the applicants. He strongly believes that the unchanging good “character” that is important in the relationship with the alumni, who are often distant compared to when they were enrolled, and the good “character” that can be felt even in the midst of change, show the ideal way of being a Japanese alumni. felt. By shining a spotlight on these efforts, we hope that this award will contribute to the future alumni culture in Japan.
