With the recent trend of DX (Digital Transformation) and the spread of telework, the introduction of public cloud (IaaS) is expanding. The public cloud has the following advantages, for example:
– You don’t have to keep your own hardware. Hardware operation and maintenance can be entrusted to the cloud vendor.
・Server resources can be increased (decreased) as much as needed when needed. ・You can manage online without going to your own office or data center. ・Security measures are also entrusted to cloud vendors.
From this point of view, when companies and public institutions introduce or update information systems, the use of cloud services should be considered first as the foundation, and there are also ideas such as “cloud first” and “cloud by default.” It is permeating. ■ Challenges of public cloud
However, the public cloud alone does not solve everything. For example, the following issues have been pointed out.

Many companies and public institutions have been adopting the option of “hybrid cloud” in response to the aforementioned public cloud issues.
