Kabuchi is an Okinawan dialect meaning that the ka (skin) is buchi (thick). Kabuchi’s unique refreshing scent contains the fragrant ingredients “Y-terpinene” and “thymol”, and “thymol” is said to have a deodorizing effect in addition to the refreshing fragrant ingredients.
This product uses luxuriously rare kabuchi essential oil produced in Yanbaru on the main island of Okinawa, blended with essential oils such as tangerine and mandarin to create an elegant and refreshing scent.

Katsuyama Shikwasa is made by distilling shikuwasa and kabuchi grown with great care by Halsa (farmers) mainly in the Katsuyama area in the nature-rich “Yanbaru” of Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, using a unique method.
