KENTEM (Construction Systems Co., Ltd.) (Headquarters: Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Wataru Shigemori) has released a groundbreaking mobile app, “Kaisetsu,” which enables point cloud acquisition in a short time using an iPad Pro equipped with LiDAR. Features of Kaisoku Scan
1. Easy 3D survey with iPad Pro
 Apple’s LiDAR-equipped iPad Pro enables easy 3D surveying.
 Start scanning by holding it over the object you want to acquire a point cloud. The point cloud of the scan result is displayed overlaid on the real image.

2. Automatic recognition of ground control points by QR code When the QR code that serves as the control point is recognized by Kaisoku Scan, the center is automatically recognized.
The control point coordinates are relayed and linked with our cloud service “KS Data Bank”, and public coordinate conversion is realized with simple operations.
*Public coordinates centered on the QR code are measured with a total station using “Kaisoku Navi Adv”.

3.Improve construction results by improving productivity
From fiscal 2022, in construction under the direct control of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the construction results will be added by using mobile terminals, etc. to measure (surface management)!
Furthermore, productivity improvement can be expected by shortening the processing time such as survey time and data conversion. 4. Automatically convert to public coordinates
 Through the cloud service “KS Data Bank”, it is linked with the ICT construction site terminal application “Kaisoku Navi Adv” and the 3D construction data creation support software “SiTE-Scope”.

5. Continuous scanning
You can continuously scan point clouds in the same way as shooting a movie. You can also pause and resume scanning during scanning. You can easily scan the scene.
6.Simple soil volume calculation
You can easily calculate soil volume with “Kaisoku Scan” from the measured point cloud.
 It is possible to calculate immediately after measurement, such as the approximate soil volume of the dumping site.
