Kobe Municipal Suma Seaside Aquarium (Wakamiya-cho, Suma-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, General Manager: Saito) operated by GRANVISTA Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. In the “Penguin Classroom”, in addition to ecological commentary by the keeper, you will enter the breeding area and enter the amount of fish given by the keeper on a special sheet for each penguin “Checker experience” and “Feeding experience”. . The penguins may look alike, but each one has different personalities and characteristics, so please find your own “preferred penguin”.
Also, after observing, you will be asked to make an original “penguin key chain”. Paint the spotted pattern on your favorite penguin’s belly, and attach the colored beads that the penguin wears on its arm instead of its name tag to create your own “preferred penguin” key chain. You can take the completed key holder home.

The Suma Seaside Aqualife Park, affectionately known as “Sumasui,” has a fantastic “Large Wave Tank” where about 1,000 sea creatures of about 80 species, including sharks and rays, swim gracefully, as well as penguins and seals up close. You can learn about the ecology of living creatures through various exhibition methods such as the “Waterside Fureai Amusement Park” where you can observe at the beach.
