MI Food Style Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Ryuichi Amemiya), a group company of Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Co., Ltd., operates 18 supermarkets (Queen’s Isetan) mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area. We are cosponsoring the World Food Day Campaign 2022 “#Gochisosama Challenge” sponsored by the certified NPO United Nations World Food Program (WFP).

This is the second time since last year that MI Food Style Co., Ltd. has sponsored the event. This campaign aims to create a “Zero Hunger” world where everyone can eat, and supports school meals for children in developing countries suffering from hunger through SNS.
We are cosponsoring and supporting this campaign to reduce food loss, solve the problem of hunger, and realize a society where people around the world can smile through food.
In conjunction with the campaign, Queen’s Isetan’s delicatessen will be selling the popular “Pumpkin Croquette with Whole Seeds!” It will be resold from Monday). “Whole seeds!? Pumpkin croquettes” are made using the leftover materials from the production of simmered pumpkin and tempura. By remaking it into a croquette, we use ingredients without waste and reduce food loss. We hope that it will be an opportunity to think about how to reduce food loss, such as “buy wisely”, “use up”, and “eat up”.
