In addition to “Gotenyama Books,” where books are exhibited and knowledge is shared within the area, we have prepared content that nurtures your creativity, such as tea ceremonies to learn about history and bonsai making.
In Gotenyama, “a town that creates exciting new discoveries and values”, we will provide creative learning that both adults and children can enjoy through Art & Technology content.
● Japanese Sustainability Illumination Using Bamboo
Gotenyama is a place rich in nature that changes with the seasons, with cherry blossoms in spring and red leaves in autumn. We have held various “Japanese illuminations” so far, but at this event, we will contribute to solving the problem of bamboo damage, which has become an issue in recent years, by using Japanese outdoor decorations and Christmas trees using bamboo. will be exhibited.
In addition, we will hold a workshop to create ornaments using recycled waste materials, and promote sustainable town development together with the participants.
● Curiosity resonates! Gotenyama Books & Curiosity Bookstore We will exhibit books recommended by companies active in the Gotenyama area along with their introductions. For adults, we have selected books that “stimulated your own curiosity!” Please take a look at the original bookshelves that stimulate creativity, collected with the aim of meeting people with the same passion and creating connections beyond the boundaries of organizations, companies, workers, and residents.
At the same time, we will hold a second-hand book market where everyone can bring their recommended books.
