“NAKED FLOWERS 2022 Autumn World Heritage Nijo Castle” finally starts today! Some of the official images are unveiled for the first time! Prior to the event, the mayor of Kyoto Kadokawa, the next head of the flower arrangement master Senko Ikenobo, and the general director Ryotaro Muramatsu will be on stage at the opening ceremony!
Naked Co., Ltd. (location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, representative: Ryotaro Muramatsu) considers the Kyoto area as one “garden”, crossover the real and metaverse virtual worlds, and enjoy Kyoto in various areas. The next-generation art project “NAKED GARDEN ONE KYOTO supported by MUFG Bank” is being held in various places in Kyoto. Among them, the special event “NAKED FLOWERS 2022 Fall World Heritage Nijo Castle” will start today, October 28th (Friday). At the same time, some of the official images will be released for the first time. This event will be held at Nijo Castle, a World Heritage site, until December 4th (Sun).

In addition, to commemorate the opening, an opening ceremony was held on Thursday, October 27, the day before. The ceremony was attended by Kyoto Mayor Kadokawa and Ikenobo Senko, the next head of the Ikebana school. At the beginning, it started with a greeting from NAKED representative of the overall production, Muramatsu, and said, “As NAKED GARDEN ONE KYOTO, I think there will be about 20 places in total, crossover type of real city and virtual space, but among them, Nijo Castle will be the main content. I think it will be. “NAKED FLOWERS 2022 Autumn World Heritage Nijo Castle” will be an event that Kyoto City has been working on as a special event. The projection mapping of the important cultural property Karamon, which was simplified to avoid the three Cs due to the corona wreck, has been revived after a long time. The phoenix drawn on the Karamon gate is digitally revived using not only the gate but also the floor surface, announcing the arrival of autumn.
Furthermore, as a real x metaverse interlocking experience, we have prepared a collaborative project “Virtual Ikebana” by artist Ryotaro Muramatsu and Ikenobo, the next master of flower arrangement. In the real exhibition, Mr. Ikenobo’s installation of real ikebana and digital art will be reflected, and in the metaverse, the ikebana that you want to arrange at the venue will be reflected.

In the real Kyoto, not only tourists but also locals will be able to enjoy walking around the city until the night with the naked art event and the art “DANDELION PROJECT” that connects prayers for peace. We will disseminate the culture of Kyoto to the world through virtual experiences at famous places in Kyoto. Currently, 20 participating locations have been decided.
