No Company Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Makoto Akiyama), which provides recruitment publicity and marketing support for companies based on SNS data analysis, feels attractive to Generation Z’s ideal work style and companies. We conducted a questionnaire survey about the points and received responses from 444 job-hunting students aged 19 to 22.

Research background
No Company’s mission is to “change organizations and people through the power of communication”, and we aim to create an environment where job seekers and companies can engage in employment and recruitment activities with better relationships. By collecting and disseminating the opinions of Generation Z who are currently job hunting (or have been job hunting until recently), we hope to realize recruitment marketing that reflects the needs of job hunting students.
Survey results
[1] When looking for a job, companies with less overtime work are the most attractive

When asked, “What kind of companies do you find attractive for job hunting?”, both companies with little overtime work (58.1%) and companies with high salaries (55.9%) exceeded 50%. There was a high level of interest in working hours and salaries. On the other hand, some students responded that they were attracted to companies that tackle social issues such as environmental issues, gender issues, and regional revitalization, which is a point that companies should be aware of when conducting recruitment activities.
[2] When thinking about careers, “I want to work by making the most of my abilities” was the highest result.

When asked, “What do you strongly desire when thinking about your future career and work style?”, 45.5% of respondents answered, “I want a job where I can make the most of my abilities.” “I want to work with like-minded people” (37.2%), followed by “I want the place/environment where I work to be comfortable” (31.3%), indicating the values of Generation Z who place importance on being able to work comfortably. It can be seen that the ability to choose the working environment for oneself is given priority over responses such as “I want to be useful to society” and “I want to be recognized by other people.”
[3] More than 70% of job-hunting students want to work both remotely and at work [Image 4d89446-9-d1039d5c7e8b7034d990-3.png&s3=89446-9-51b7ce4c84697a85ec28db3e732b6076-2560x1340.png
More than 70% of job-hunting students want to go to work and work remotely for “What is the work style you want in the first year of joining the company?” Among the combined use, “more remote” (39%) slightly exceeded “more work” (34.2%), but there are more job hunters who want to go to work every day and full remote.
It is thought that there are many job-hunting students who want to work in an environment where they can go to work during a time when they are changing from a student to a working adult.
