◆Overview
　From 18:30 on October 14, 2022 (Friday), the “Workshop for Thinking about Forms of Defense and Diplomacy (33rd Teach-in Okayama)” will be held at the Okayama International Exchange Center (Kita Ward, Okayama City).
It will be hosted by the Okayama University Faculty of Education Social Studies Pedagogy Laboratory and CUBE (a student team that thoroughly explores social issues).
In the wake of events such as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and North Korea’s missile launch, interest in public defense and diplomacy has increased. However, it is difficult to say that the opinions among the people are in agreement. In addition, the attitude of the government of Japan, the only country to have suffered atomic bombings, in relation to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons is attracting attention both at home and abroad. Where will Japan’s defense and diplomacy head in the future?
In this workshop, I would like to speak frankly and frankly about Japan’s defense and diplomatic issues, which I don’t usually talk to people about. Please join us.
