Inspired by Oakley’s relationship with surfing since the 1990s, the Hydra’s design reflects the exhilaration of riding waves and enjoying the ocean with friends all day long. The campaign features Team Oakley athletes and professional surfers Ethan Ewing and Griffin Colapinto. The duo, who visited Indonesia on a surf trip, prove that Hydra is eyewear that captures the essence of “just the best of times.” [Image 2

The Hydra is accented with a modern trigger stem design that evokes the silhouette of 1980s and 90s surf styles and Oakley’s first surf culture-inspired eyewear, the Razor Blade. with the original logo. Additionally, looking to the future of Oakley eyewear design, Hydra’s brows share the same design structure as Oakley’s groundbreaking Oakley Kato eyewear launched last year. Exclusive Oakley features round out the sunglasses, including Prizm(TM) lens technology that enhances color and contrast, non-slip Unobtainium nose pads, and a Low Bridge Fit option that contours to your face shape.

The Hydra campaign features Team Oakley athletes and popular surfers Ethan Ewing and Griffin Colapinto.
